Prepare for a statement review

A good review starts with questions and data hygiene—not a request to send everything you have.

What a statement review can answer

The goal is to reconcile fees and transaction activity, not to manufacture a savings estimate. A useful review can explain pricing structure, recurring charges, processing mix, and possible follow-up questions for the provider.

  • Which charges were incurred during a specified period?
  • How did total charges relate to comparable processed volume?
  • Which fees appear fixed, usage-based, or conditional?
  • What information is still missing for a responsible comparison?

Sensitive information stays private

Do not send full card numbers, security codes, passwords, complete account details, tax identifiers, customer data, or unredacted bank information through a website form or ordinary email.

This informational website does not currently accept statement uploads. A documented, permissioned, secure intake process with redaction and retention rules must be established before confidential materials are exchanged.

Never attempt to upload or paste payment statements or cardholder data into this website. No secure upload function is enabled.

What to prepare instead

Start with non-sensitive operational context: payment channels, industry, average ticket, questions about your agreement, and the specific concern you want answered.

When comparing offers, request the complete pricing schedule, relevant service terms, and a written breakdown of which assumptions drive the calculation.

What a responsible conclusion looks like

The output should distinguish observed facts, calculations, unanswered questions, operational implications, and recommendations. A sound review may conclude that no processor change is needed.
