Read more →A referral agreement is not an editorial endorsement. Every proposed merchant introduction should pass a scenario-specific fit review.
An appropriate provider must fit a real merchant need and demonstrate the relevant capabilities. Commercial compensation should not determine editorial conclusions or override merchant requirements.
This page is a published standard, not a roster of approved partners. No public directory or endorsement is being represented as live at this stage.
A useful review considers capabilities, underwriting fit, written economics, contract obligations, merchant service, technology support, complaint and reputation evidence, and data access.
A company may be researched, known personally, have a reviewed contract, be vetted for a particular use case, actively receive consented referrals, or be paused pending review. A relationship or introductory conversation alone should not be represented as broad certification.
No paid placement is allowed to purchase a favorable editorial ranking.
When a commercial introduction is appropriate, the nature of compensation should be disclosed before the handoff, and merchant information should be shared only with explicit permission and a documented owner.
Sensitive payment credentials, bank information and cardholder data are never appropriate for ordinary public lead forms.
