Why we distinguish verified source dates from guessed values.
Explore →Trust is the product. Our content should earn it even when a merchant never contacts us.
This publication is organized as an independent education and merchant-intelligence resource. We seek to explain concepts accurately, demonstrate calculations, distinguish observation from inference, and support decisions rather than force a transaction.
Editorial conclusions should be appropriate to a defined merchant scenario. We do not sell placement in a 'best processor' ranking or publish merchant-specific savings percentages without a documented and appropriate baseline.
The standard is to distinguish primary-source facts, firsthand experience, analysis, hypotheses and unknowns. Time-sensitive legal, network, interchange and compliance content requires explicit source and effective-date checks before specific claims are published.
The site's current reference guides intentionally avoid unverified 'current' rate tables and nationwide legal verdicts.
Named experts, reviewer credentials, direct quotes and biographies require verification and appropriate permission. Historical industry experience can inform questions but does not replace current source verification.
We may update evergreen reference pages in place and publish dated analysis separately. Where a meaningful correction is necessary, the revised content should make the changed understanding clear.
Public articles use independently sourced industry information, original educational analysis, or explicitly hypothetical examples. We do not publish private merchant records, client or prospect data, confidential operational reporting, private conversations, unpublished partner agreements, or personal relationship information.
Nothing on this site should be read as a case study, endorsement, or reference to an identifiable private business unless it is deliberately labeled, independently verified, and authorized for publication. No client-specific case studies are currently published.
A referral or other commercial arrangement does not grant a provider editorial control. Partner suitability is scenario-specific; a merchant may be better served by retaining the existing relationship. Relevant financial incentives should be disclosed clearly.
No merchant records, statements, private agreements or unredacted confidential data may be published as evidence without proper rights, safeguarding and authorization.
